Amar Kalaria

Major: Physiology and Neurobiology
Minor: Molecular and Cell Biology, Healthcare Management and Insurance Studies
Amar Kalaria is a junior in the honors program at the University of Connecticut. In the Conover Lab, he is focusing on studying the curvature of the ventricles in normal and hydrocephalus patients using MRI scans of the brain. He is helping with the stem cell lineage tracing project in order to determine the division method of radial glial cells. Amar enjoys playing basketball and tennis in his free time. He is also a member of UCTR, a cultural dance team on campus.
