Bio:
Patrick Briody is a senior in the honors program at the university. His focus in the lab is on stem cell lineage tracing in embryonic mice using in utero electrophoresis. By marking the stem cells of developing embryonic brains in mice, he hopes to help discern if radial glial cells divide through symmetric or asymmetric division. Patrick is also experienced in using software systems in order to create 3D renderings of the brain using MRI scans, as well as analyze the curvature of the ventricles. He is also a student leader in the Community Outreach Program and in his free time enjoys running, hiking, and camping. He also grew up in Storrs!
